The MOFD Emergency Medical Services is led by the Battalion Chief. Firefighter EMTs and Firefighter/Paramedics facilitate rapid response to the scene of a medical or traumatic emergency, insure appropriate field treatment and stabilization of patients, providing rapid transport to the hospital or specialty care center. This team of skilled individuals collaborating within the organization is essential to the success of the EMS Program.

The Moraga-Orinda Fire District Support Services is responsible for a broad array of service areas that are essential for maintaining operational readiness.  These include the maintenance, repairs and budget management of facilities, fuel, supplies, apparatus, SCBA/oxygen equipment and project management for new facilities or remodels.
