Regular Meetings of the Moraga-Orinda Fire District Board of Directors are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. - with closed session beginning at 6 p.m. and open session beginning at 7 p.m.  The location of the meeting is listed on each agenda, as it may vary. 

When the day for a regular meeting of the District Board falls on a legal holiday, the District Board, at the preceding meeting, shall determine the time and date of any rescheduled meeting.  Various other Special meetings are scheduled throughout the year to address time-sensitive District issues.  Meetings take place in person and via Zoom videoconference.

  • Introduction: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Moraga-Orinda Fire District will hold a third public hearing on the process for revising District boundaries and consider adopting resolution 22-07, setting the final map and related matters.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Moraga-Orinda Fire District will hold its third public hearing on the process for revising district boundaries at its regular meeting on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing will be to provide an overview of the redistricting efforts to date; review the criteria for adopting new district boundaries/maps; present the proposed final map; receive input from the public; have the Board of Directors consider adopting a resolution setting the final map and related matters. Public meeting materials, draft maps, virtual meeting links, past meeting recordings can be accessed at www.mofd.org/agendas.

To slow the spread of COVID-19 in lieu of a public gathering, the Board of Directors meeting will be accessible via webinar/teleconference (only) and live-streaming for all members of the public in accordance with AB 361. Members of the public will be able to provide live public comment via zoom or by telephone by following the virtual links in the published agenda at www.mofd.org/agendas for this day’s meeting. The public may also submit written testimony on the proposed redistricting before or during the Public Hearing to the District Clerk via email at info@mofd.org.
